My first impression of his work was that its very dark and mysterious, which I like. Its all in black and white and since its abstract you don’t know what the object is most of the time. He gets this look by thinking outside of the box and getting really close to his subjects. A very important element he uses is fill the frame to create abstract looks. I can use the same elements Aaron uses to create similar photos and effects.
